She was clearly the top performing racing schooner of this season. Always being pushed to the limit, imminently setting all available sails to the given conditions.  For Elena we supplied all Sitka Spruce for her spare topmasts.

2009

This 1910 Herreshoff was recreated in Spain. Elena is  close sister to Westward, which was recreated as Eleonora in 2001. Built to the highest possible standards she was the sensation of the Voile de St.Tropez in 2009.
