In 1935, Walter Rothschild asked by Olin Stephens to design him a winning offshore yawl and Mr. Rothschild raced her hard with great success until in a violent storm she broke of her anchor and was lost. Pieter van der Aa decided to recreate her in the same spirit of his earlier work, the NY32 Masquerade. Touchwood took great pleasure to supply selected tight grain Western Red Cedar for her hull construction.
